Welcome to Tamworth Transporters (trading as TTHQ and VANPER). These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the provision of our physical workshop services and e-commerce sales.

By accessing this website, purchasing goods from our shop, or booking a vehicle in for conversion/mechanical work, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use our services if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

2. E-Commerce & Online Shop (Parts & Merch)

2.1 Placing an Order

By placing an order through our website (including VANPER furniture, new parts, used parts, or merchandise), you are offering to purchase a product subject to these terms. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

2.2 Pricing and Payment

All prices advertised are subject to change without notice. We accept payments via standard major credit/debit cards and secure online payment gateways. Goods will not be dispatched until full payment has cleared.

2.3 Delivery

We aim to dispatch items within the timeframe stated on the product page. Delivery times may vary depending on courier availability. TTHQ is not liable for delays caused by third-party shipping companies. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.

3. Workshop Services & Bespoke Conversions

3.1 Quotations and Estimates

Quotes provided (whether via AiChimp, email, or in-person) are valid for 30 days. Estimates are provided in good faith based on the initial inspection or description. If unforeseen issues arise once a vehicle is stripped (e.g., hidden rust, prior poor wiring), we will pause work and notify you of any additional costs before proceeding.

3.2 Deposits and Payments

Due to the high cost of ordering premium parts (e.g., pop-top roofs, custom RIB beds, air-ride kits), a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your workshop slot and order parts. The deposit amount will be outlined in your custom quote. The final balance is due strictly upon completion of the work, prior to the vehicle being released back to you.

3.3 Timescales

While we strive for fast turnarounds, conversion timelines are estimates. Delays in parts from suppliers (e.g., custom upholstery delays) are outside our control. We will keep you updated throughout the build process.

4. Vehicle Drop-off, Collection & Storage

4.1 Vehicle Contents

Customers must remove all personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle prior to drop-off. TTHQ accepts no liability for the loss or damage of personal items left inside the van during its time in our workshop.

4.2 Collection and Storage Fees

Once you have been notified that your vehicle is ready for collection, it must be collected within 5 working days (unless previously agreed). Vehicles left beyond this period may incur a secure storage fee of £[Insert Amount] per day.

5. Warranties & Guarantees (The TTHQ Guarantee)

5.1 Workmanship

We pride ourselves on not skimping. TTHQ provides a [Insert Time, e.g., 12-month] guarantee on our physical workmanship (fitting, wiring, installation) from the date of completion.

5.2 Parts Warranty

New parts supplied and fitted by us carry the manufacturer's warranty (e.g., Bilstein, Skyline). We will assist you in processing claims with the manufacturer if a part fails within its warranty period. Pre-loved / Second-hand parts sold in our shop or fitted to your van are sold "as-seen" and carry a limited [Insert Time, e.g., 30-day] warranty, unless stated otherwise.

6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

6.1 Online Shop (Distance Selling)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you purchase a standard product online (e.g., a hoodie, a standard lighting kit), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods. Goods must be returned in their original, unused condition at your own expense. A refund will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned item.

6.2 Bespoke & Custom Orders (Exemptions)

Please note: Custom-made goods are exempt from the 14-day return rule. If you order bespoke VANPER furniture, custom upholstery, or a bespoke pop-top canvas tailored to your specifications, these cannot be cancelled or returned once production has commenced.

6.3 Workshop Cancellations

If you cancel a booked conversion slot after your deposit has been paid and parts have been ordered specifically for your vehicle, your deposit will be forfeited to cover the cost of the bespoke parts and lost workshop time.

7. Limitation of Liability

TTHQ will exercise all reasonable skill and care. However, we shall not be liable for:

• Pre-existing faults with the vehicle (e.g., engine failure after interior work).
• Any loss of income, loss of profit, or loss of use of the vehicle while it is in our possession or if a delay occurs.
• Damage caused by your failure to maintain the vehicle or parts post-conversion according to our/the manufacturer's instructions.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images of our builds, logos (TTHQ, VANPER), and text, is the property of Tamworth Transporters. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our imagery for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

9. Governing Law
